The Hertfordshire Showband - Lord Mayors Show 2014 |

The Hertfordshire Showband are delighted to announce that they once again got the opportunity to take part in the famous Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday 8th November. The 2014 Lord Mayor’s Show, that took part on 8th November, celebrated 800 years of the parade and therefore is the UK’s oldest street party which has floated, rolled, trotted, marched and fought its way through London history since 1215. |

This year’s 7,000 strong procession included 180 horses, 140 vehicles, assorted dogs, fish, dragons, pigs, owls, bears, penguins, eagles, a Viking ship, Masai dancers, Napoleon and a tank With 154 participating organisations hailing from all over the UK and from Kenya to Hong Kong, this year’s Show demonstrated exactly why London is widely regarded as the most cosmopolitan city in the world Click here to see the Hertfordshire Showband taking part in the Lord Mayors Show 2014 Like the Lord Mayors Show on Facebook Lord Mayors Show Online |
