The Sound of the Hertfordshire Showband

The Hertfordshire Showband play a wide variety of music suitable for all kinds of occasions, from Showband competition arena displays to prestigious parades such as The Lord Mayor's Show to concerts, the occasional wedding ... and yes we've even played for Her Majesty The Queen.

With music from Star Wars to Les Miserables, Soul Man to Wind Beneath My Wings and Robbie Williams Big Band Medleys to St Louis Blues, our repertoire includes movie themes from the big screen, classic songs & music from The West End, Big Band/Swing numbers and a few military marches too.

Now is a good time to join the band. Once every 4 years we have competed in the World Championships, with the most recent in 2009. We are now learning our new music for the future. Below are 4 of the pieces from our most recent arena show ...
