Hertfordshire Band Academy (UK registered Charity No,: 1079924) is managed and operated entirely by volunteers who share the same passion for the growth of music and marching within the community. The band's operations and activities are self-funded via member subscriptions, performances, donations and a significant fundraising effort.
Costs associated with such a band range from rehearsal & performance venues, competition fees, equipment storage, transportation to events, accommodation for trips, new music, new instruments and the upkeep of existing instruments, uniforms, administration costs and more.
